Alcohol Drug Testing Facts

Alcohol is detected when ethyl alcohol in the blood escapes through the lung tissue into the exhaled breath. This presence can be detected by the very sensitive electronic circuitry contained in the analyzer. When the subject exhales into the analyzer, the device will light up one of three possible lights.
